We started the year off with an amazing two weeks in Queensland Australia. We saw and experienced so many things. Please check out the CRIKEY tab for all the videos, photos, and stories. More is added every week as we go through all the photos we took and recount our experience in this land down under.
While there we also had a chance to meet with the head of Wildlife Warriors and discuss how we could better help our worlds wildlife. I will be dedicating an entire blog post to that soon.
Cole and I landed back in the States with only a weekend reprieve before work and school started back. This will be my last semester and is filled with exciting classes, one does research in Costa Rica!, and final opportunities to learn as much as I can before I graduate and start job hunting.
The trip to Australia was a great reminder of what an amazing world we live in. The world is full of diversity, opportunity, and new things to discover and learn.
Graduation is looming in May 2015. For graduation my goal is to raise the most funds ever for wildlife! I am planning on fund-raising for Tigers as my graduation send-off. Stay tuned for a new page and all the details coming soon to this website! Did you know $5 saves one tiger in the wild for one day? It's called Tiger 511 and I am pleased to be fund-raising for Wildlife Warriors to help save the last of these amazing animals.
After two knee surgeries last year I am healing well and getting back into shape. If anyone wants to join me let me know. I love workout partners, even if they are virtual and not near me. Last year I ran a half marathon. What should this years goal be?
Oh there is so much more to say! Unfortunately with five classes, for now, I'll have to say goodbye. I have homework to do. I am going out on top!
So stay tuned. This great year is just beginning. We can do anything we want with Hard Work, Perseverance, and a Positive Attitude!
Let's make 2015 the year where we all make the changes we wish to see in the world. Let's lead by example not wishes.
Hugs and Positivity, Rebecca
